What a fantastic evening at The Rogues gig last week (30 May 2026). The atmosphere in Clwb Ifor Bach was brilliant, and from the moment they stepped on stage the lead singer, Andrew Flannelly was on form! The intimate layout made the whole gig feel personal and high‑energy. Staff were friendly, the crowd was buzzing, and the band delivered a tight, confident set. Brilliant night at one of Cardiff’s best live music venues.
Great music venue, friendly staff and reasonable bar prices. Cashless venue though so make sure you take a card/phone with you!
Honestly the best venue for gigs!! Smaller venues such as Clwb Ifor Bach are so much better than bigger venues for gigs/concerts. I’ve seen 3 of my favourite musicians such as Jeff Rosenstock, Foxing and Origami Angels and always had such an amazing experience. The staff have always been friendly and I have always been served quickly at the bar! The space is small but enough to enjoy the music and the people around you! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
great venue! drinks aren't too pricey, allowed to vape inside, friendly staff. AC would be a great addition but can't complain
Great place for a gig. Good bar, reasonably priced. The stage is just high enough to give most people a decent view. Reasonable sound on the night I went, although unusually, the sound clarity was better for the support band. The club has also been used when recording Doctor Who, for any Whovians out there. Recommended.
